Did you know what you wear this Easter Sunday is considered good luck?

In New York in the mid-1800s, it was believed that buying new clothes to wear on Easter Sunday would bring good luck for the rest of the year. It’s a tradition that became the basis of the Easter Bonnet Parade, and one we’re hanging onto (sans the bonnet).

Here are some egg-cellent new looks to wear this weekend (our wardrobes and 2022 depends on it).

Roll out of bed and straight into a sharp espresso and lounging pyjamas by Marni. Maximum impact for minimum effort, they’re so chic they’re good enough to eat.

WEAR WITH:

Colour-bomb the hunt in Agua Bendita’s Guaguanco dress. Eye-catchingly bright, it’s perfect for egg hunting (do take a chic basket). You’ll look right at home frolicking in the garden, too. Watch for bees.. .

WEAR WITH:

Femineity in focus: Ulla Johnson’s twilight floral top and skirt are a considered take on conventional separates. Slouchy yet polished, you’ll be the star of Easter lunch.

WEAR WITH:

Exquisitely constructed and as speckly as an Easter egg, this fabulous jacket by Dries Van Noten is a work of art (we love its tiny people print!). Just add a bold lip and bunny ears and you’ve stolen Easter!

WEAR WITH:

Easter egg pink (with sparkling buttons), denim and a tee is just what we want to relax in. It’s easy enough to be casual, but unapologetically glam to look like you’ve made an effort.
