It's almost time to crawl out from beneath that pile of puffers and winter knits and embrace lighter pieces for Spring's sunny days ahead. We're gravitating towards Ulla Johnson's new season collection of joyfully chic dresses here at Adam Heath.

Here are my top five to shimmy into for Spring, and beyond.

 RABIA DRESS

Unapologetically romantic, the Rabia Dress is my number 1, from its ruched bodice and square neckline to its cute cut-out and bow detailing.  I can’t resist its ruffled ankle-grazing trim and gem-line print, either. Is it just me, or is it conjuring up visions of Verona and balconies?  I’m adding a sprinkling of jewels and calling myself Juliet.

KADY DRESS

Ulla’s cotton Kady Dress is supremely easy to wear all year round. A combination of beauty and strength thanks to exquisite pleating and flutter sleeves, its structure and form is bold yet maintains a certain lightness that is simply delicious. I’ll be wearing mine loose and easy with Ganni rubber boots, and by night, wrapping it with a belt and pulling on a pair of Isabel Marant ankle boots.

ROSALIND DRESS

Ballooning sleeves, as seen in the Rosalind dress, allude to froth and frou-frou, which of course, I love. Yet, in crisp cotton poplin, this fabulously feminine frock takes on a more polished look that’s a breeze to wear.  Throw in a magical print of cosmic winged earthy hues, and you have a sweet dress that packs a strong style statement. Pop it on your list.

EMINE DRESS

I love the Emine dress for its whimsical silhouette, ruffles, tiers and cinched waist. Cut in the prettiest silk georgette print,  its palette is dominated by dreamy shades of rose, burgundy and peach. I spy pops of deep green and bright blue too that will come to life with a a sneaker boasting a slick of blue or Anya Hindmarch’s bejewelled Maple Syrup bag (so sweet). Elegant, feminine, and utterly wearable, Emine is a triple threat with rare style power for such a wonderfully whispy frock.

AMAYAH DRESS

PS - Standby for the Amayah dress, coming soon! Is there a more flattering neckline than a crisscross cutaway? Not for me. It's just one of the reasons I'm in love with this frock! Rich in shades of mahogany, sage, turmeric and amber, it features a side split that reveals a hint of leg, just three or four inches above the knee, but not a naughty notch more. Tip? Add a heel for seriously longer (looking) legs. I'll be applying a tomato-red lip, too – it's perfection with turmeric. Landing late September, get in touch if you want to be informed of its arrival...
