While designer Ditte Reffstrup from Ganni always wears her designs to her parties, she does so without a fixed plan. “I like to decide on the day,” she told the Financial Times. “You can plan, but when the day comes, you might put on that pink dress you love and feel like you’re wearing a cake. So, for me, I just wait and see how I feel. And I never wear too high heels, because then I can’t dance.”  Your party season mantra? More is more.

The key to en pointe party dressing? “Less heels, more flats!” Ulla Johnson told Harper’s Bazaar. “A sense of ease in all I wear is important.” We agree - who says flats can’t be as glamorous as stilettos?
